I'd rather give the money to the old Malay lady begging on the overhead bridge in front of Parkway Parade. Since I noticed her, I have been givin her $2.00 each time. To date, its almost $50.00+++
Its much more satisfying than the PAP giving $2.00 per lego brick and patting themselves on the back for a job well done.

Remember, Old Man used to lecture Sinkaporeans : "No such thing as a free lunch" Even the air we breathe is not free.Presumably, welfare has become a private sector initiative. Charities are suffering owing to Pappies involvement. No one trust them to handle monies lah.

So this LEGO scheme is a well thought scheme to take money.

LEGOs are for kids. They are applying kids' pressure on their parents to donate.

Any parent worth his/her weight in salt will take their kids and search Singapore's back alleys for destitutes. And let the kids give these destitutes money by hand.

It is not the garments fault. There are many civil servants who want to give to the poor but it is the PAP, the political party that governs that doesn't want to help the poor and the aged.

The PAP is a fascist political party and as such they have an inherent disdain for the lesser mortals. Google FASCIST or FASCISM and you will learn about fascism and how similar the PAP is to the ideals of fascism.
