That brings us to the question WHY do We need to spend ONE THIRD of our National Budget playing soldier?....Reduce it by 50% and just imagine how much higher our standard of living can be....
The money saved should be used for Health Care, Education, and Welfare. (We are a total disgrace as a Nation for being so tight fisted and neglecting these 3 fundamental responsibilities expected from any Democratic Government)
I hope that this is one area the Opposition when they come into power will look in.....Do We really need to spend 11.5billion$ annualy on "Defene"....?
I believe We are probably the highest per capita spenders on Defence in the World even beating Israel. $3,300.00 of taxpayers money for every Man, Woman and Child per year for these people to play soldiers....or $13,200 per average family of four.
