Believe it or not, I paid $16 for this pasta at Raffles City's Italian bistro
A STOMPer paid $16 for this meagre serving of Carbonara pasta at a Raffles City Italian bistro, which, according to the waiter, was 'a lot already'.
Said the STOMPer:
"My friend and I Went for dinner at this Italian cafe bistro at Raffles city (not Pregos).
"The menu had 2 sizes for each item and the carbonara was priced at SGD16 and SGD19.
"As I was not that hungry, I took the risk and went with the SGD16 portion.
"The attached picture was what I got.
"I even asked the waiter whether I had the correct amount and the waiter even thought that what I had was the SGD19 version.
"When I said 'No, this is the SGD16 one', he said to me 'That's a lot already'.
"Needless to say, my friend and I will never step into that establishment again."
