為應對武漢的不明肺炎爆發，港府相關政策局及部門昨晚才召開跨部門會議，食物及衞生局局長陳肇始說，本港暫時未發現與武漢相關的嚴重肺炎個案，當局將每日公布監測數字。醫院管理局說至今通報三宗個案，三名病人曾去過武漢，但都無去到濕街市。由於病人需要時間記清楚所到之處，醫院亦需為病人化驗，並會為審慎而安排病人隔離，並通報衞生署。
該三名受隔離的病人分別是兩男一女的本港居民，分送瑪嘉烈、屯門及大埔那打素醫院，三人已經退燒，其中屯院及那打素病人已出院。
衞生署今天開始從武漢航機抵港時，在航機出口安排額外紅外線熱像儀，之後旅客會再經過日常的體溫檢測站，如有體溫偏高者會進一步確認，若發燒會進行健康評估，再決定是否轉介公立醫院。
袁國勇：屯院料24小時內完成檢測
