Escape from Paradise is completely true. We have over a dozen boxes of supporting documents, and it was checked by three lawyers (who are mentioned in the forward to the book). We have never been sued by any party over the book, although Helen Yeo did threaten to do so. We sued Helen Yeo for the damaging in getting the book banned in Singapore in the US Federal Court, but she never appeared, and we could not compel her to do so (although she did receive all the documents). Our case has been withdrawn "without prejudice" which means it can be re-instated at any time.
Contrary to public opinion,
Escape from Paradise is not a scandalous book by any means. Helen Yeo was only mentioned in passing as her firm was instrumental in the selling of my wife's family home by her father. Although we did not know it at the time, and it is not in the book, Helen Yeo had the house registered as sold before it was actually sold. This is most likely why she wanted the book banned as it might lead someone to discover the facts involving her. After the book was banned, we conducted an investigation and came up the documents revealing what Helen Yeo had done. These documents can be viewed at

CJ Yong, and many others have bought the book, and have made no objections.
