WP: They seem to be dealing with the local media pretty well. Every weekend when they go around with their walk about, they get interview and more news from them, their election policies, their candidates, etc. I think the huge media influence is good for them. They haven't been as active as most other parties had on the internet but I think reaching out through the local news media is still the preferred way most Singaporeans get their news and the good exposure they are getting every week can only do them good. PAP have been scrambling about trying to fight off every single detail coming from the WP camp showing just how effective it is to try and fight the PAP on their on platform of choice
SPP: Been quiet until the last 2 weeks. Nothing on the net, nothing on the traditional news media before that. Suddenly we've been hearing quite a bit from them. Again like WP I think it's good they started coming out and let everyone see who they are.
NSP: They were the first and most active in the early days of campaigning. Seems like they loss steam, totally nothing from them right now as oppose to the other 2.
SDP: IMO the current tactic will be the death of the party. Chee seem to be on a personal crusade against the local news agencies. They are totally ignoring them or outright insulting them. This tactic is going to cause the party to lose even more votes then the others. SDP on the best of days have never really had a good reputation. Totally ignoring the local media which and campaigning on the internet which contains all the trolls and flamers who are going to be anti-PAP anyway is not going to help their cause. They should be glad to get their deposits back this time round. Ironically, Chee will probably use this as an excuse to attack SPH and mediacorp for not giving them any attention
SDA & RP: Totally no news. I think they are still figuring out what to do. SDA losing SPP is a huge blow to them while RP have started becoming a joke with Alec Tok leaving so close to the elections. Both are probably more busy cleaning house
