Thanks to a reader who emailed us a soft copy of Creative Technologies’ Annual report in 2007 and 2008, we have irrefutable evidence now that Holland-Bukit Panjang Town Council was a majority shareholder of Creative Technologies till 2007 at the very least:

All we know from Creative’s annual report that Holland-Bukit Panjang Town Council was a major shareholder till 2007. We do not know when the shares were bought or sold.

There are only three things we can be certain about:

1. The shares were bought before 2007.

2. As of 30 June 2007, the Town Council held 530,000 shares of Creative Technologies.

3. The Town Council may have sold off all or some of its shares between June 2007 and June 2008.

The share value of Creative during this period lies between $4.00 and $11.00.

Due to the lack of information revealed by either the Town Council or Creative Technologies, we can only speculate the period in which the shares were bought.
