This statement has been said so often it is so trite. So many innocent, regular folks have found themselves on the wrong side of the law just because they use it. It is the law that is wrong. Keeping the current status of it only benefits the underworld, and lawyers.

Since Nixon declared the "War On Drugs," billions of dollars has gone down the drain. Law enforcements, border patrol, prisons, customs, hospitals, rehabs, and the whole gig could not stop the drug barons but in fact made them wealthier. The war has been a total failure.
