Having seen the national stadium stage its 'farewell' game time and again since its official closing last year, I can't help but wonder if the relevant parties are on time to meet their tight schedule to complete the Sports Hub project.

Our old national Stadium has been earmarked for the state funeral of our great leader.

We should be grateful the government is timing the projects. Instead of fighting for resources in good times, use these projects to pump prime in bad times.

We, too, should be grateful that the government is not raising the GST to 8.5% and cuttingt the CPF in such bad times.

No difference from saying farewell as a prime minister. The National Stadium had secretly been renamed Senior National Stadium. In five years time, the name will be changed to National Stadium Mentor!

Quite frankly, I have lost count on the farewell.

why so ambitious for a small country like ours? the national stadium is an icon? why destroy it and build a commercially-motivated sports hub? everything also want to destroy and become hubs! hub here and hub there. in the end, one big hug of garbage!

Its already a hub of garbage. Its pure pappies style to build or start on a project eons behind first world countries.
