Zenith was one of the last to goThere was a small cinema at Upper Thomson Rd called Imperial. I think it's where the present community centre is. Then there was Zenith cinema at Tampines Rd before Kovan.
Kok Wah was at Yio Chu Kang Road. I went there to watch Grease in 1978. Yes, I also went to Paramount at Serangoon Gardens, Kong Chian at Toa Payoh. There was another cinema called Toa Payoh Cinema where I caught a few Carter Wong movies. Not forgetting Roxy at Katong and Zenith at Upper Serangoon/Tampines Rd. Self folding wooden backed seats.
