I'm thinking of getting away for a while & noticed that they've resumed services at the old Don Muang airport. In the old days this was the only airport if you wanted to BKK. With Suvarnabhumi now reaching capacity they are re-opening Don Muang as a budget terminal. AirAsia has moved to that airport.
In the past I found the airport more convenient as it was closer to downtown Bangkok. Has anyone used this airport recently & is it as convenient as it was in the past
