My ex-teacher said that Human Resource is the most important resource in Singapore since Singapore has no natural resource except for the small amount of water it has. PAP is good in growing the economy but failed in human resource. I think PAP is wasting its precious resources with is its people, the born and bred Singaporeans, reasons being:
The present bunch of ministers are only there for the ridiculousy high pay that the Prime Minister Office gives, when it comes to serious incidents like Mas Selamat, Mass Food Poisoning, Increasing Murder and Robbery Cases Economic Crisis and Rising Unemployment the government is lost on how to solve. They are good at talking cock and wayang though.
Importing foreign trash and whores from third world country like China, India, Philippines etc to make up for the shortfall of births and talented Singaporeans who exited Singapore. The foreign trash has make the surroundings dirty, spit all over the place, take up our medical, education and transport services and compete with us for jobs. These trash also are more willing to take lower pay because they don't know the cars and houses here are damn expensive and push down the locals pay too.
Singaporeans are generally too saddled up with the housing and car loans to save enough money to bring up children which needs financial and time commitment. There is also not enough job security for the locals. Local talents are not always drawn by bigger salaries overseas. They prefer big houses for less money ($400K can buy bungalow in Aust not some fucked up pigeon hole), more freedom of expression and less polluted, more relaxing environment which Singapore cannot provide.
PAP peoples docile, amiable workforce and people and discourages freedom of expression. They also don't like creative, expressive, innovative people and political dissidents. These people thus work or study overseas as their environment suits these creative people better. Most of the innovation produced by polytechnic or university students are not new, they are just repackaged version of old machines.
