How do you treat your maid?

Do you treat your maid like a slave instead of a human being?

Like when you go to restaurant for lunch or dinner, do you ask your maid to eat together with you, or you ask her to wait until you have finished, she pick off the scraps on the table?

Do you order them around the house? Do you give them day off on Sunday? How often do you change your maid?

Why I bring this question up, because there's always maid kena abused often.

Mind you, they are mostly indonesians, they are just across our border and with a population of 200 million people.

I wonder if you don't treat them well, when they return to Indonesia, they'll have bad impression of us Singaporeans.

1. I don't have a maid everything in the house my wife or I do so don't know how to treat a maid.
2. If I got a maid see her lazy I get pissed off. My wife see me too friendly with her she get pissed so for me its better I don't have a maid

The housekeepers in my house are like family to us. When they had to leave for home when their contracts are up, they cried at the airport with us. :(

She got better treatment than even me. If I don't do well for exam, I forgo my yearly Christmas present. She gets hers no matter what. Because mommy said that jiejie's Catholic, so no matter what she gets Christmas present.
