How is it that MM Lee and PM Lee are saying different things here:

In the New Year's message, PM Lee said, "The Government’s first responsibility is to Singaporeans. We will manage and moderate the inflow of foreign workers, so that Singaporeans are not overwhelmed by the sheer numbers."

But in a recent interview with National Geographic, MM Lee said, "Over time, Singaporeans have become less hard-driving and hard-striving. This is why it is a good thing that the nation has welcomed so many Chinese immigrants” and “If native Singaporeans are falling behind because the spurs are not stuck into the hide, that is their problem.”

So, should we listen to the father or the son or both? This is very confusing....

The truth of the matter is that it is politician's job to say conflicting things and to confuse everyone as much as possible by what they say. Unlike what the Lee family tries to make as believe, most policitians are just con-men and similar to used car salesmen.

In fact, as the old man Lee as admitted, it does not take much intelligence to be a PM. "Any fool can do the job" in the little red dot, as "all systems are in place" and most of the work of our PM and our million-dollar ministers is done by our highly paid and efficient civil servants, anyway.

To sum up both of Legend Lee and PM Lee talks is that even if Singapore is continuing welcoming foreign talents to come to Singapore to help the nation and the people to strive for future progress and success, Singaporeans will always be in the top priority in most things and areas. 3 cheers PAP
