If you want real pork ribs, eat at a higher SES place. Many low SES chink zichar serve pork shoulder and lean pork chops as 'pork ribs' in their so-called 排骨王, to the point I've stopped ordering this dish when the Tan family eat out at zichar or mid range chink restaurants.

Good marketing ploy...after eating this special discount banquet, the group will have to order supplementary dishes.

Anyway...total bill for this when you include service charge, GST & cess is more than $150.

I visited their Joo Chiat branch to bring my overseas friends for crabs.

Order two, and one was rotton. The meat was shrunk not because it was overcooked but because the crab was dead for don't know how long. The restaurant's chinese name means House of Crabs, and I confronted the restaurant staff to ask for replacement because crab is their specialty. They denied and claimed that this is their normal standard.

You want good wholesome fresh food, go to indian restuarant. No cheating there. Ask for crab or prawn curry.
