Speeding in JB is stupid. That's what the North-South Highway is for. Alternatively, you can speed while going downhill from Genting Highlands, Initial D style.

Get ready for a Consumerreports.org graph from @Leongsam telling you the Volvo is shit.

I rest my case!

I also have to point out that Volvo is no longer a Swedish company it's a Chink company. The brand is now owned by Geely. Small wonder the safety and reliability of the Volvo is now no better than a chink car.

Hmmm. I dunno!

The Volvo XC90 is the 2015 Auto Express Large SUV of the Year, with the Kia Sorento and Range Rover Sport commended
Volvo has shaken up the large SUV class with a premium seven-seat off-roader that offers superb luxury and cutting-edge tech at more affordable prices. After winning our Design Award last year, the firm is going through a purple patch when it comes to styling, and the XC90 is a crisp and clear evolution of Volvo’s vision.
Cool details such as the Thor’s Hammer daytime running lights and the bluff but bold front end mean this SUV is setting the latest design trends. Inside, it’s a similar story, as the minimalist cabin is beautifully trimmed.
Volvo XC90 vs Land Rover Discovery
The XC90 is undeniably a top-quality product, and the dash-mounted iPad-style tablet that controls the multimedia, climate control and sat-nav systems is the icing on the cake.

Flip through the magazine and you'll find a big fat advert for Volvo.

Ad funded publications never have a bad thing to say about the cars they review. They'll find the good points and hype them to death while ignoring all the negatives.

I have no doubt that when a Volvo is brand new it'll be nice to drive. However the real test is when you own one and then find it spends far too much time in the workshop to keep it running.

Sir Leong is rather predictable

That is because I am consistent and I put in a lot of effort to dispel myths and reveal biases.

In the 60s and 70s Volvo was a Swedish company and it was one of the very few car manufacturers that actually took safety seriously.

Nowadays any car that does not have a 5 star ANCAP safety reading is confined to the sidelines. ALL the major brands make safe cars

Here's the list for Toyota. The whole list has a 5 star rating.

https://www.ancap.com.au/safety-ratings/toyota

The idea that only European makes are safe is an echo from the past. It no longer applies in this day and age.
