Honda dazzles visitors with U3-X
KUALA LUMPUR: Honda has been dazzling visitors with its latest technology – the U3-X, which resembles a high-tech unicycle. The U3-X can be pivoted, turned and glided smoothly based on the rider’s body movement. “It’s easy to use. I got the hang of it after practising for a few minutes on the first day of the show,” said 8TV Quickie host Julie Woon who gave a demonstration at the Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show (KLIMS) 2010. Gliding easily back and forth with subtle motions of her feet and body, Woon attracted a huge crowd who listened raptly to her presentation on the U3-X.

“Our demonstration was to educate the public on Honda’s move towards a new generation of personal mobility,” she said. She noted that the U3-X was environment-friendly.
Miss Malaysia International 2010 Chantelle Chuah, who was one of the Honda models, agreed that green technology was essential towards a better future.
“Honda has invested so much in creating advanced technology. “Thanks to this motor show, the public can be updated on the latest concepts available,” she said. KLIMS 2010 is held at the Putra World Trade Centre until Sunday.
It features the latest in the Malaysian automotive industry, a wide range of booths selling car accessories as well as novelty attractions such as the 16-foot tall replica of Bumblebee from the blockbuster movie Transformers.
