香港一名15歲的陳姓女學生自上月9月19日起就失蹤，親友憂心忡忡，發布尋人啟事協尋。自她失蹤幾天後，香港警方於某處海面發現一具全裸浮屍，近日陳女親友向港媒證實，該具浮屍就是陳姓女學生，校方也證實該名學生的死訊。
根據香港《蘋果》報導，年僅15歲的陳彥霖於9月19日下午2點15分與朋友聚會結束分開，10分鐘後曾傳訊息給朋友，表示自己正在回家路上，但時隔多日仍未見人影，親友擔憂不已，刊登尋人啟事，於24日開始在香港Telegram群組及連登討論區廣為流傳，讓網友也十分關心擔憂。

但事實上，陳女失蹤後第3天，9月22日，香港警方就曾於在油塘魔鬼山一帶的海面上發現一具全裸浮屍，警方在媒體追問下，證實是15歲失蹤女童，但未直接證實就是陳彥霖。事後陳女的親友向港媒確認，該具浮屍就是陳彥霖。
陳女生前是游泳健將，還曾接受過定期跳水訓練，如今卻陳屍於海面上，由於其曾多次參與反送中示威，死因令親友感到可疑。
陳彥霖原就讀於職訓局，校方也證實該學生死訊。根據《香港01》報導，學院也於今（11日）早發起活動，在校園點燃白色蠟燭和擺放鮮花悼念她。
