【on.cc東網專訊】修訂《逃犯條例》引發的遊行示威不停，今日(14日)遊行人士與警方發生衝突，由馬路進入商場，晚上更蔓延至新城市廣場，雙方爆發混戰，多名警員受傷，其中一名持圓盾牌的便衣警員手指受傷，其右手無名指頭斷開見骨，血肉糢糊，其他警員一邊護送他到安全位置，一邊大叫「隻手指斷咗，叫白車」。

沙田新城市廣場晚上有大批防暴警察進駐，與示威者發生衝突，有警員聲稱被人咬斷手指，有示威者向警方投擲雨傘等雜物，警察則用盾牌阻擋，亦有數名警員被示威者襲擊。
警員以警棍嘗試制服示威者，示威者與警方糾纏期間被扯爛上衣，亦有頭部受傷流血的示威者聲稱被警員打頭。
政府發言人指，有部分示威者晚上故意堵塞道路，以暴力襲擊警察，並肆意破壞社會安寧。政府對這些違法行為，予以強烈譴責。又指法治是香港的基石，社會絕不容忍這些暴力行為。

In the evening, a large number of riot police officers stationed in Sha Tin New City Plaza clashed with demonstrators. Some police officers claimed to have been bitten by fingers.
