Got plate number means can get taken picture / video of offense pay $$FINE$$.
Actually must have a license system with demerit points that can be BAN / disqualified to get rid of rouge ridders.

【星島日報報道】警方大力打擊無牌電動單車。繼昨日先後在上水拘捕一男一女後，今日在天水圍多拘捕一名懷疑駕駛電動單車的42歲女子。
新界北總區交通部執行及管制組警員今早在屯門及天水圍區一帶進行打擊無牌電動車輛行動，針對區內違法使用無牌電動車輛的情況。
上午約10時10分，警員在天水圍天瑞徑發現一名女子駕駛一輛懷疑電動單車，於是上前截查。經初步調查後，該名42歲姓陳本地女子涉嫌無牌駕駛、駕駛時沒有第三者風險保險、駕駛未有登記車輛及在沒有戴上防護頭盔的情況下駕駛電單車被捕，該輛電動單車已被送往車輛扣留中心作進一步檢查。
該名被捕女子現正被扣留調查。警方表示，有關行動將會繼續進行，以保障道路安全。

經初步調查後，該名姓梁(44歲)男子涉嫌無牌駕駛 、駕駛時沒有第三者風險保險、駕駛未有登記車輛及在沒有戴上防護頭盔的情況下駕駛電單車被捕，該輛電動單車已被送往車輛扣留中心作進一步檢查。

上午約7時11分，警員在沙頭角公路行人路上發現一名59歲姓馮本地男子駕駛一輛懷疑電動單車，於是上前截查。警員經初步調查後，該名男子涉嫌駕駛時沒有第三者風險保險、駕駛未有登記車輛及在沒有戴上防護頭盔的情況下駕駛電動單車被捕。
該名被捕男子現正被扣留調查。有關的電動單車已被送往車輛扣留中心作進一步檢查。
警方提醒市民，電動可移動工具不宜與一般汽車共同使用路面，亦不適合在行人道或單車徑上使用，在道路、行人路及單車徑上使用未經登記及領牌的電動可移動工具可能違反香港法例第374章《道路交通條例》及其他相關法例，市民勿以身試法。

[Sing Tao Daily reported] The police vigorously cracked down on unlicensed electric bicycles. Following the arrest of a man and a woman in Sheung Shui yesterday, a 42-year-old woman suspected of driving an electric bicycle was arrested in Tin Shui Wai today.
Police officers of the Traffic and Traffic Control Division of the New Territories North Region conducted an operation against unlicensed electric vehicles in Tuen Mun and Tin Shui Wai Area this morning against illegal use of unlicensed electric vehicles in the district.
At about 10:10 am, a police officer found a woman driving a suspected electric bicycle at Tin Shui Path, Tin Shui Wai. She then intercepted it. After a preliminary investigation, the 42-year-old woman named Chen was arrested for driving without a license, driving without a third-party risk insurance, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving a motorcycle without wearing a protective helmet. The electric bicycle has been taken to the vehicle detention center for further inspection.
The arrested woman is being detained for investigation. The police said that the relevant actions will continue to ensure road safety.

[on.cc East Network News] Following the interception of a man in Sha Tau Kok at about 7 am this morning (4 pm), the enforcement and control section of the Traffic, New Territories North, was deployed this afternoon. In the vicinity of Sheung Shui and Tai Po District, the Police continued to crack down on unlicensed electric vehicles. During the operation, a police officer found a man driving a suspected electric bicycle at Tin Ping Road, Sheung Shui.
After the preliminary investigation, the man named Liang (44 years old) was arrested for driving without a license, driving without a third party risk insurance, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving a motorcycle without wearing a protective helmet. An electric bicycle has been taken to the Vehicle Detention Center for further inspection.

[Sing Tao Daily News] The New Territories North Regional Traffic Department's Executive and Control Team, in conjunction with the Sheung Shui Division Task Force, conducted a crackdown on unlicensed electric vehicles in the morning to address the illegal use of unlicensed electric vehicles in the district.
At about 7:11 am, Police officers found a 59-year-old man named Fung, driving a suspected electric bicycle, on the pedestrian road at Sha Tau Kok Road. After preliminary investigation, the man was suspected of driving without third-party risk insurance, driving unregistered vehicles and arrested for driving an electric bicycle without wearing a protective helmet.
The arrested man is being detained for investigation. The relevant electric bicycle has been taken to the vehicle detention centre for further inspection.
The Police remind members of the public that electric movable tools should not be used in conjunction with ordinary motor vehicles. They are not suitable for use on footpaths or cycle tracks. The use of unregistered and licensed electric movable tools on roads, footpaths and cycle tracks may be contravened. Members of the public are not allowed to take the test of the Road Traffic Ordinance (Cap. 374) and other relevant legislation.
