The four are Hong Konger Liu Wing Sing, 19; Joshua Leong Wei Jun and Kan Zhan Peng, both also 19; and Lee Chang Feng, 21.
The youths are alleged to have caused the death of Mr Marcus Siah Wui Xiang, 18, in the open carpark of People's Park Centre at about 1.20am that day.
They were arrested at their homes on Thursday morning, just days after allegedly setting upon Mr Siah and his three friends, who had gone to Chinatown for the festive light-up. The victim was an Institute of Technical Education student.
