曾蔭權(中)刑滿於醫院直接獲釋。
前特首曾蔭權爵士前年被裁定一項公職人員行為失當罪成，判監20個月，後獲上訴庭減刑至1年，今日(15日)刑滿出獄。由於他上周五(11日)突然報稱不適，由赤柱監獄送往瑪麗醫院羈留病房接受治療，今直接由羈留病房出獄。
曾蔭權於早上9時17分左右步出醫院，時被問及案件上訴情況、是否憎恨前特首梁振英。他表示，因法庭仍在處理，他不想多言，但大家明白，作為港人，於香港法治環境，他若要尋求公義及清白，是要堅持，「呢個唔可以放棄」。他又說不希望掀起比較，他已盡好大努力，靠唸經、上天保祐，現時內心已消除「嬲」和怨恨。
曾蔭權亦說，多謝傳媒關心，廿多年來不離不棄，「好難得㗎」，今日開始要歸家與家人團聚，現時心情很感恩，希望與家人團聚，並與太太多傾談，重過正常寧靜的生活，並恢復幾十年的習慣。曾蔭權其後登車，於9時半左右到達位於深水灣的香港哥爾夫球會。
據悉，曾蔭權因身為前特首，今日出獄後仍享有相關待遇和福利，包括「G4」的要員保護組保護。前任行政長官高級私人助理莫偉樑以書面回覆東網查詢時指，政府一直按立法會財委會的批准，為所有前任行政長官提供支援及其他終身福利，包括辦公室和行政支援、汽車連司機服務、禮遇安排、保安及醫療和牙科護理。如果個別前行政長官不能進行財委會文件內載列的推廣及禮節性工作，以致該前任行政長官毋須使用有關的支援，政府會重新調配相關資源作其他適當用途。

【星島日報報道】前行政長官曾蔭權因公職人員行為失當罪成，於赤柱監獄服刑，原定今日刑滿出獄，他日前報稱身體不適，被送往瑪麗醫院羈留病房接受治療。今早7時許，有大批記者在瑪麗醫院J座地下等候。
懲教署昨日表示，在囚人士在刑滿獲釋當日會由院所高級人員接見及進行相關釋放程序，當中包括親自領回其私人物品，除非在囚人士預先申請並獲准將其私人物品交由其指定人士代領。若獲釋當日仍在公立醫院留醫，釋放程序會按既定機制在醫院之病房內進行。在羈留病房獲釋的在囚人士如仍需留醫，會按主診醫生指示被轉送到其他病房繼續接受治理。
在獄中度過74歲生辰的曾蔭權，於2017年2月被裁定一項身為公職人員行為失當罪成，判囚20個月，隨即收監，在赤柱監獄服刑。
曾蔭權於去年4月獲上訴庭批准保釋等候上訴，同年7月20日上訴庭頒下判詞，3位法官一致駁回曾蔭權的定罪上訴，但批准減刑，由原有的20個月減為一年，又獲減免訟費至100萬元。由於推翻定罪失敗，故需立即重返監獄服刑，曾蔭權其後因哮喘病發作，須轉往瑪麗醫院羈留病房，留院數天後才被送返赤柱監獄。
直至上月20日，曾蔭權到終審法院應訊，繼續為個人的定罪提出上訴許可，最終首席法官馬道立同意原審法官引導陪審團的手法有商榷之處，包括陪審員是否必須肯定曾蔭權故意不申報利益，是知法犯法而非鹵莽才可定罪，以及若陪審員不認為罪曾蔭權不作申報利益屬貪污，他們在衡量曾蔭權的行為是否構成公職人員行為失當時，原審法官是否應提供更多協助。此外，終院又接納曾蔭權以司法不公為由批出上訴許可。
雖然獲終院批出上訴許可，曾蔭權亦沒有提出保釋申請，選擇在獄中渡過餘下3個多星期的刑期，由於他在獄中扣除行為良好和公眾假期後，在服刑三分二，即8個月後，終在今日可刑滿出獄。

【星島日報報道】前行政長官曾蔭權今日刑滿出獄，其太太曾鮑笑微到瑪麗醫院陪同他離開。曾蔭權接受傳媒提問時，曾鮑笑微亦陪伴在側，在曾蔭權說話期間她亦頻頻點頭，兩人更全程手拖手。
曾蔭權接受提問時，提到在獄中一星期只能與太太見一次，還要隔住玻璃，所以他表示現在最希望與太太面對面暢談。曾蔭權神情輕鬆，離開醫院時亦面帶微笑，又跟記者們揮手。

【Now新聞台】因公職人員行為失當罪被判囚一年的前行政長官曾蔭權服刑完畢，他感謝家人、朋友的支持，希望重返寧靜的退休生活。被問到律政司不檢控另一名前行政長官梁振英，他承認心裏曾有怨恨，但已學懂放下。
曾蔭權於早上9時許，在妻子曾鮑笑薇陪同下離開瑪麗醫院羈留病房，兩人手牽手見傳媒。曾蔭權穿上西裝，戴上招牌煲呔，面帶笑容感謝家人。
被問到律政司沒有就UGL案檢控另一前行政長官梁振英有何看法，他指不想作比較，但承認心裏曾有怨恨。
74歲的曾蔭權前年因為公職人員行為失當罪判囚20個月，去年上訴庭維持他的定罪但減刑至12個月。他已獲批上訴至終審法院，案件排期五月十四日審理，他不評論有沒有信心終極上訴成功。
曾蔭權表示，出獄後最希望可以喝咖啡以及跟太太好好地聊天。曾蔭權表示，星期五會到瑪麗醫院覆診，自己身體沒有大礙，希望外界能尊重他的私隱。

曾蔭權回應傳媒提問時表示，在囚期間出現新的健康問題，但指只是小問題，並不嚴重，將要定期返回醫院進行檢查，本周五將返回醫院做檢查及與醫生見面，又說涉及個人私隱，不會具體交代。
曾蔭權又說，獲釋後第一件事是希望與太太聊天，過往在獄中只能每周一次，隔著玻璃窗與太太見面，並且有人監聽，希望出獄後飲一杯久違的咖啡。

The Correctional Services Department said yesterday that inmates on the day of their release will be interviewed and conducted by the senior staff of the institution, including personally taking back their personal belongings, unless the person in custody has applied in advance and is allowed to hand over his personal belongings. In April last year, Mr Tsang was granted an appeal by the Court of Appeal for bail pending appeal. On July 20 of the same year, the Court of Appeal issued a judgment. The three judges unanimously dismissed Donald's conviction appeal, but approved the commutation, from the original 20 months to one year. Also obtained a fee reduction of $1 million. As a result of the overthrow of the conviction, it was necessary to return to prison immediately. After the outbreak of asthma, Donald Tsang was transferred to the detention room of Queen Mary Hospital and was returned to Stanley Prison a few days later.
Until the 20th of last month, Donald Tsang went to the Court of Final Appeal to continue to appeal the conviction of the individual. Finally, the Chief Justice, Ma Daoli, agreed that the trial judge would guide the jury's approach, including whether the juror must affirm that Donald Tsang deliberately refused to declare. Interests are convictions for knowing the law rather than swearing, and if the jurors do not consider guilty Donald’s non-declaration of interest as corruption, they should provide more assistance in determining whether Donald’s act constitutes a public official’s misconduct. In addition, the final court accepted Donald Tsang's approval of the appeal on the grounds of judicial injustice.
Although he was granted an appeal by the Final Court, Mr Tsang did not file a bail application and chose to spend the remaining three weeks in jail. He was sentenced to two-thirds of the sentence after he deducted good behavior and public holidays in prison. After the month, he will be released from prison today.
