Hiring new staff or looking for mistresses?
Nanyang Siang Pau reported that an alternative job interview was held in Chengdu, Sichuan province in China where 40 young women had to don different costumes and walk the runway for selection by 80 heads of companies.
According to its organiser, those attending the job interview came from various education backgrounds, including graduates of business administration, psychology and stage performance.
“Among them were three Master’s holders,” the organiser said. However, some questioned the intention of the prospective employers.
“Do they sincerely want to hire new staff or are they looking for lovers and mistresses for themselves?” a member of the public asked.
However, the report did not reveal what kind of job vacancies the women were being interviewed for.
