European countries have minimum wages and independent labour unions that can protest and boycott and yet Japanese Nissan still built factories there?
Why????
What that old bastard going all over the world and Japan giving talk like a king of economies still have no investors cumming for him?
Strange isn't. If Ho Jinx have given all the lost of 250 billions to Nissan, there will be more than 2 batteries factories in SinKaPoor for all SinKies with minimum wage of Jyen 800 per hour like in Japan.
The FTs can all go home.

Nissan to build battery plants in U.K., Portugal
LONDON (Kyodo) Nissan Motor Co. said it will produce lithium-ion batteries for electric cars in Britain and Portugal in partnership with Renault SA.
The carmaker said Monday it will build a factory in Sunderland, northeast England, while the location of the planned factory in Portugal has yet to be decided.
Nissan will invest at least £200 million (about ¥31.2 billion) in the British plant and spend about 250 million euro (¥33.5 billion) in Portugal, the company said.
Each factory will have capacity to produce 60,000 batteries a year. The governments of Britain and Portugal will offer loans and other financial aid for the factories, Nissan said.
Nissan and Renault regard electric cars as mainstay strategic products amid the increasing popularity of environmentally friendly cars. Renault owns a 44 percent stake in Nissan, which plans to start selling electric cars in 2011.
