Hero New York cop terms failed bomber Faisal Shahzad a 'bastard'

The policeman, who cleared Times Square when Pakistani origin Faisal Shahzad's bomb was about to explode, has termed the failed bomber a bastard.
"I hope the bastard will go away forever," NYPD Officer Wayne Rhatigan said when told Faisal had admitted to the nefarious plot.
Rhatigan's wife, Tinamarie, chimed in: "He deserves it and much more."
Wayne Rhatigan, 47, was patrolling Times Square on horseback on May 1 when street vendors told him there was smoke coming from an abandoned SUV at 45th St. and Broadway.
Rhatigan, assigned to the Troop B mounted unit, knew right away it was trouble as he circled the vehicle, the Daily News reports.
Rhatigan was cautionary in his praise for yesterday's development in the case.
"These guys are out there ...it can happen anywhere. I am sure there is someone planning on getting us right now. I'm sure they're [the terrorists] not going in jail. Game over," he said.
Faisal Shahzad has apparently declared war against all Americans in retaliation for their occupation of Muslim lands and random killing of Muslims.
Having pleaded guilty on Monday to all ten charges related to the attempted Times Square bombing before a judge of the Federal District Court in Manhattan, Shahzad said: "I want to plead guilty and I'm going to plead guilty 100 times over, because until the hour the US pulls its forces from Iraq and Afghanistan, and stops the drone strikes in Somalia and Yemen and in Pakistan, and stops the occupation of Muslim lands, and stops killing the Muslims, and stops reporting the Muslims to its government, we will be attacking the U.S., and I plead guilty to that."
