Hero Lim Bo Seng is indeed a thorn for the regime.
Why?
It reminded people like PrataMan and Old Autocrat of their roles during the Jap Occupation. One was earmarked for further training by the kempeitai and the other found some meaning translation work to bring in some bacon. Therefore the regime decided that Lim's contribution was for the nationalist regime ruling China and the Brits, therefore he was not accorded the real hero status unlike the lackeys and minions who served the regime after Independence.
The Mouthpiece was fed up that peasants are moaning that the ungrateful regime is not maintaining the tombstone. It published an 'academic' paper claiming Lim joined the Brits in hope of securing his frozen commercial assets after the war. Today another lackey suggested the tombstone maintenance's responsibility belonged to the Lim family.
It is also strange that BG Lim, a well paid grandson of the Lim family 'acted blur' after it was implied he did nothing for the tombstone?
Perhaps he belonged to some religious order that forbid ancestral tomb maintenance, or he is simply too stingy to part with cash, family politics may present some difficulty for this well off general to partake in tomb renovation.
Alas, the mouthpiece has suggested it is a family affair and peasants should steer clear of this sad episode.
