THE long arm of the law has caught up with a 53-year-old man who was charged on Wedneday with fresh counts of molesting five more girls as far back as 1994 until 2005.
Ng Ban Keong was first brought to court a week ago for allegedly molesting an 11-year-old girl at the Golden Landmark shopping centre's carpark staircase on North Bridge Road on May 21.
He had apparently claimed to be a doctor when he asked the victim if she was feeling well at the Bugis MRT Station underpass that morning.
He then led her to a secluded staircase nearby where he allegedly rubbed her private parts.
At his second appearance in court on Wednesday, Goh is accused of having molested five girls, then aged between 10 and 12, at staircase landings of HDB apartment blocks in Jurong West and Clementi between July 1994 and September 2005.
The prosecution sought another week's remand for Goh for further investigation. He will return to court on June 30.
