HE COULD be jailed if he was caught, but it was a risk he was willing to take.
Retail magnate Tang Wee Sung, 56, did not think twice about breaking the law.
He was dying.
Without a kidney transplant, he had perhaps six months, or 18 months, to live.
In the meantime, he was tethered to his dialysis machine for three hours a day, six days a week. Because the catheter was in his chest, he had to lie flat and could not even read to pass the time.
'I felt so trapped. My whole world revolved around the dialysis. That, to me, wasn't living,' he recalled, with a shudder.
