HDB flats- Does being "affordable" mean low Quality?

STOMPer Nazzy is distressed that the floor tiles in the master bedroom has popped up, leaving ugly cracks. Moreover, according to the contractor she spoke to, they are the 20th case.

Nazzy says:

"My floor tiles, starting from the master bedroom to the walkway before the living room, has been popping up.

"The person from HDB confirmed that there are several cases in Bukit Panjang and Choa Chu Kang area.

"This is also confirmed by the contractor who went to clear the tiles from my place.

"The contractor mentioned that my house is number 20 on his list with the same problem.

"It's been a few days since this happened. What kind of contractors did HDB engage for their new estates?

"Who will bear all these inconveniences and charges?

"How long do I have to wait before they replace my flooring?

"Will the rest of the house fall apart? Can HDB guarantee that the same thing will not happen again?"

Honestly, and you can flame me for this if you want, but I don't think it's worth selling your life away to a greedy corporation for $8.00 an hour, with no benefits, so that your meager paycheck can be further raped by taxes while whats left of it will hardly last you until the next paycheck.

I'd rather be unemployed, not pay taxes and have every hour of my life to myself.
