HDB flat floor area got bluff or not ?

I had lived in a 5-room flat before, and the floor plan claimed the area was 123 sqm. I compare it with the private apartment where I now live, I just find it hard to believe that my ex-HDB flat was "that big".

So far has anyone ever really verified the floor area of HDB flats ?

Get your unit floor plan from HDB office. Then compare metre by metre. Usually, it's very accurate. There's nothing in it for them to con you. You don't buy, they just call, next!

Maybe they include the ceiling area also..

It also includes those useless protuded "HOLES" under the window frame which is almost perpetually useless.

how big is your private apartment? did you measure it?

can accomodate your steinway and sons piano?

Might opt for Fazioli instead.
