泰國8日發生一起蟒蛇傷人事件，從泰媒新聞畫面中可以看到，一隻巨大蟒蛇躲在民宅的馬桶內，男子在8日上午11點上廁所時，沒有察覺蟒蛇存在，可能是驚嚇到蟒蛇，其突然從馬桶中竄出，攻擊男子下體，導致男子睪丸當場鮮血直流，送醫急救後縫了15針，目前已無大礙。
民宅主人無法將該隻蟒蛇趕出馬桶，只好報警處理。警消人員接後通報趕到現場時，試過各種方法都無法將蟒蛇引出，最後將燈光照明關掉，才終於捕捉到蟒蛇，結束這場驚魂劇。
