Tunnel vision: Director Guy Ritchie, 44, is building an underpass from his home to a private car park
He's the genius director behind films such as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch and Sherlock Holmes. And with his unique vision Guy Ritchie is using his creative skills to build a tunnel that will make his life much easier.
According to reports the 44-year-old has started work on a 25-metre covered passageway linking his house to a car park where he keeps his vehicles. The burrow will be located underneath a college building close to his £6million central London home which he shares with his fiancée Jacqui Ainsley.
Speaking to The Sun a source said: 'The walk only takes five minutes as it is, but Guy clearly values his time. Plus it means he can get there without being recognised.' The newspaper also alleges that Ritchie first applied for planning permission last October.
It has also been said that students at the college will lose a classroom during the construction of the underpass. The source continued: 'To complete the work he’s had to ask the college to sacrifice a room. 'Students have been warned there may be some disruption due to drilling.'
MailOnline have contacted a spokesperson for Guy Ritchie. Last November Guy and his soon-to-be-wife Jacqui welcomed their second child into the world.
Ainsley, 31, gave birth to a little girl in a private hospital in London making Ritchie a father for the third time. The couple also have a one-year-old son called Rafael, while Guy shares sons Rocco, 12, and David, seven, with his former wife Madonna.
