Guilin View neighbours' feud is finally settled
We didn't get along but we didn't start fight

A dispute between neighbours at a Bukit Batok condominium has been settled following a mediation session last Monday evening.
Earlier, The New Paper reported that several residents in Guilin View complained about noise pollution and litter which seemed to originate from a 30th storey unit.
Neighbours have lodged complaints with the condo's building management against the
unit's occupants, a couple. One even made a police report about the killer litter.
However, the 30th storey unit's occupants, the Tans, deny that they had deliberately thrown litter out of the window.
A glass bottle that broke the window of their neighbours a floor below was not thrown on purpose, they say. It fell when Mrs Tan slipped while cleaning the bathroom's windows while standing on the edges of the bathtub.
Mr Tan said they immediately alerted the building management and offered to pay for the damage. The management confirmed this.
The Tans added the neighbours below started the feud when the latter refused to remove their bicycle, which was obstructing the exit to the staircase on the 29th storey.
The Tans also claimed these neighbours would play the piano loudly to provoke them.
