郭玉林法官在判決書指控，自稱是吳俐臻法官父親的人，在他審案時，拿手機對於承審法官及家屬拍攝，將法官個資置於不正當方式外流風險下，也造成法官心理壓力，籲法院提供適當支援，以降低法官裁判時的安全顧慮。

台東地院郭玉林法官與吳俐臻法官，因種菜問題爆紛爭，知情人士透露，2人在2012年時曾在台東地院同一庭審案，司訓所49期結業的郭玉林是吳俐臻的學長，2人都很優秀，郭玉林服役時更曾獲選為優良替代役，2人分發到台東地院初期並無異狀，不料如今卻鬧到這麼難看，郭玉林認為自己沒有錯，吳俐臻更是認為自己很委屈，甚至傳出雙方為此不惜辭職，也要爭個明白。
吳俐臻法官2013年曾承審原住民王光祿獵槍案，王光祿遭判有罪確定，民間團體認為有罪判決有侵害原住民傳統之虞，積極奔走後，最高法院2017年停審聲請大法官解釋，在此之前，同為台東地法官的郭玉林即曾投書媒體評論，並指舉出宜蘭、花蓮、台東法院的6個關於獵槍案的判決都是無罪，暗批吳俐臻法官的有罪判決沒有顧及其他相同類型案件的判決結果。
知情人士指出，郭玉林法官投書對吳俐臻判決的評論，讓雙方產生心結，後來郭玉林法官在判決書中，直指吳俐臻在原住民獵槍案的判決是任意變更法律見解，更是加深雙方成見，吳利臻一再忍讓，不料後來竟然爆發種菜爭議，還演變成報警察要求逮捕吳俐臻父親，非常孝順長輩的吳俐臻認為這越過她底線，已向台東地院院長唐光義報告，希望能平息戰火。

民風純僕的後山台東市，當地派出所警方日前接獲一起報案，檢舉有人濫用公家資源、使用台東地院法官宿舍的自來水澆花種菜，還是現行犯，警方趕到場後，才發現被檢舉的「嫌犯」是台東地院刑事庭法官吳俐臻父親，更離譜的是，報案檢舉的人，竟然是吳的同僚，也是地院民事庭法官郭玉林。
到場了解案情的員警相當尷尬，被控在菜園澆水的法官吳俐臻父親更是一頭霧水，員警也不知該如何著手偵辦，經在場其他法官與法院人員向警方說明是一場誤會後，現場原本一觸即發的衝突再未進一步擴大。

吳俐臻法官2013年曾承審原住民王光祿獵槍案，王光祿遭判有罪確定，民間團體認為有罪判決有侵害原住民傳統之虞，積極奔走後，最高法院2017年停審聲請大法官解釋，在此之前，同為台東地法官的郭玉林即曾投書媒體評論，並指舉出宜蘭、花蓮、台東法院的6個關於獵槍案的判決都是無罪，暗批吳俐臻法官的有罪判決沒有顧及其他相同類型案件的判決結果。
知情人士指出，郭玉林法官投書對吳俐臻判決的評論，讓雙方產生心結，後來郭玉林法官在判決書中，直指吳俐臻在原住民獵槍案的判決是任意變更法律見解，更是加深雙方成見，吳利臻一再忍讓，不料後來竟然爆發種菜爭議，還演變成報警察要求逮捕吳俐臻父親，非常孝順長輩的吳俐臻認為這越過她底線，已向台東地院院長唐光義報告，希望能平息戰火。
