Rich FT seen threatening Singaporean after hit-and-run accident
In a video uploaded on Monday (7th Dec), a black BMW SDQ6808K was seen hitting a parked car.
Notwithstanding the fact that this accident was entirely caused by the driver of the BMW, the BMW driver proceeded to drive to the exit without leaving a note.
At the exit, he was seen coming out to check the damage to his BMW, on the assumption that no one was watching.
Netizen Dennis Tan, who witnessed the hit-and-run, managed to take some photos of the man, who got aggressive and threatened to sue Dennis. A video footage taken by Dennis revealed the man to carry a foreign accent, suggesting that he might be another FT which was ‘imported’ by the ruling party to “provide jobs” for Singaporeans.
An LTA search showed that the BMW in question is a 2008 model BMW 325i convertible. Additional search with sgcarmart.com showed the car to carry a value of S$80,000.
A police report was subsequently lodged, but it is not known if the police would investigate the driver for alleged hit-and-run as normally the complainant would be advised to initiate a civil suit.
Is this the kind of FT that Singapore needs?
