What payout??? Most money gets dumped into CPF account where it can only retrieve it after you DIE! Also by locking it in CPF, you are funding Ho Ching's foray into mega deals - rememeber Citibank, UBS, ad infinitum. AND your CPF money loses value to 5% inflation rate ( vs 2 % interest you get for your CPF money - gahmen is actually screwing you! the money they gave you gets drain out pretty soon........... Temasek if they make money, pockets the profit; if they lose your money, it is your money! Meanwhile win or lose, they continue to draw their super fat salaries)

it's the peoples' money.

gov using the peoples'money to pay miserably back to the people and claiming their own personal generosity. do they dare tell singaporeans how much they have lost in their foreign investments?

everyone should know. every singaporean should know cos it's all our money the gov is toying with and without any transparency or accountability.

the payout is simply put it as a LEEgal way to buy your precious votes. just look how it coincides to pay out b4 GE day. once pap is back in power, it shall be payback time in many fold from the peasants. the paps shall squeeze everyone high and dry cos they know that there might not be another 2nd term. no more every sundays. this might be their last chance to grab as much from the people as possible.
