Greece's two gay marriages annulled

A GREEK court annulled the nation's only two same-sex marriages, officials said yesterday, following a backlash from the government and the Orthodox Church. One bishop called them weddings of "humanoid couples".
The couples – one male, one female – exploited a law that does not specify gender in civil unions. They were married last June by the mayor of Tilos.
