31 grassroots leaders first to receive leadership skills certification

SINGAPORE: Grassroots leaders can now be certified in community leadership and development.

The first batch of 31 recipients attended a graduation ceremony on Saturday by the National Community Leadership Institute and Republic Polytechnic.

The organisations run two certificate programmes to train grassroots leaders in communication and community engagement.

These consist of weekend workshops ranging from half to two days.
