Saad Man was admitted to the hospital last Thursday after he was repeatedly hit by his 22-year-old grandson, who flew into a rage when he failed to get the money.
A police report was made near Sungai Petani, Kedah. When the grandson found out about it, he got even more furious.
He went to his grandfather’s house again and kicked the older man several times, breaking his ribs.
Neighbours called the police and they remanded the grandson.
