MALAYSIA - A woman has lodged a police report against her father for molesting his 13-year-old twin grandchildren.
Harian Metro reported their aunt said her 78-year-old father had been molesting the twins repeatedly at his house in Bukit Puchong since November.
The 37-year-old lodged a report at the Bukit Puchong police station on Sunday.
A source said the twins had lived with their grandparents after their parents divorced almost 10 years ago.
"Their father is in prison while their mother is working in another state.
"The suspect would go into their bedroom late at night and molest them," said the source.
They told their aunt about it last month and stayed with her for a while but the grandmother wanted the twins back.
"The grandmother promised she would ensure their safety," he said.
However, they were molested again after a few days.
Police have arrested the grandfather.
Subang Jaya district police chief Asst Comm Yahaya Ramli confirmed receiving the report.
"Due to his age and health, police did not obtain a remand order. The twins are currently staying with their aunt," he said.
