【on.cc東網專訊】沙田有持刀男大鬧沙角商場。今日(22日)傍晚6時許，一名男子闖入手執30厘米長菜刀揮舞，並進入多間店舖及餐廳搗，毀壞玻璃，街坊見狀慌忙走避及報警求救。期間，持刀男在商場二樓徘徊，又走到售賣裝飾品的攤位，掃毀數件貨物，又揮刀兇人。據東網讀者陳生表示，當時場面十分混亂，原本打想上前制止對方，惟見他身形高大，情緒又不穩，未有貿然靠近，他形容指:「個男人揸把菜刀閃晒光，好似新買。」
期間，大批警員接報趕至，曾次喝令對方棄刀不果，有警員擎槍戒備，及後兩名軍裝警員撲前，將他按地制服，另有一名軍裝及一名便衣警員，持警棍及盾牌在旁戒備。其後，將涉案姓黃(24歲)男子帶署及檢走菜刀調查，案件列作藏有攻擊性武器及刑事毀壞，交由沙田警區刑事調查隊調查犯案動機。
