<!-- START OF : div id="storytext"--><!-- more than 4 paragraphs -->I LIVE in an HDB flat in Ang Mo Kio.
Unfortunately, my flat is on the second level. It is is unfortunate because there are no lifts.
This makes life very difficult for my aged mother, who has a huge ulcer on her leg. It is a hellish experience for her to go to the polyclinic to have her leg dressed as she has to go up and down the stairs.
I have written to the town council, spoken to MPs and written to the Housing Board on numerous occasions. All turned out to be disappointing because all I received was the standard response that they will let me know when lifts are to be installed. That was about four years ago. To my chagrin, they never answered my question on when my area is scheduled for lift installation.
It is sad when the authorities give the standard response that they will let you know. It is sadder that no one will take responsibility for not installing lifts on every level.

PAP promised billions and billions of upgrading funds last GE.

it is a surprise that Lee Hsien Loong's GRC got this type of problem.

the writer should see Hsien loong at teck ghee instead of writing to Town council.

anyway, the lift upgrading is paid by leaseholders and not by PAP.

Diu the familee !
