The scenario is more like the PAP was caught with its pants down when HK announced the 100% bank guarantee whereas the PAP govt only guanranteed $20k initially and money started flying out of Singapore to HK. He is now trying to beg the HK govt to give PAP face by letting the PAP know before HK's next move.

Coordinate, my foot. He thinks the HK govt is as stupid as he and the A-Team are. The HK govt will act in the interest of its own people unlike the PAP govt.

Hong Kong is overreacting by its full deposit guarantee. It will only hurt Hong Kong so as a friendly brother we are advising Hong Kong against what our leaders feel is a bad decision.
