Hog's Breath Cafe
This Australian steakhouse buys only the best grain-fed beef. Its prime rib steaks (top) are slow-cooked for up to 18 hours, then seared on a char-grill to seal in moisture and flavour.
They come in several sizes with a choice of sauces and toppings like Spicy Blackened, Hickory Smoke Sauce, Garlic Mushrooms and Garlic Prawns. Prices start at $26.50.

Soul Cravings
One of this eatery’s signature dishes is Chicken Cordon Bleu (above), a boneless chicken leg rolled with honey baked ham and Emmental cheese and breaded with fine Japanese breadcrumbs.
This delectable dish is served with mixed salad, goma dressing and colourful home-made vegetable chips (Japanese purple potato, orange sweet potato and yam).

The Water Edge
As the restaurant’s name implies, you’ll practically sit by the water while working your way through the Tenderloin Steak ($23.50/ 200gm, above).
Flown from New Zealand, their succulent steaks come with baked potatoes and sautéed vegetables. The tough decision you have to make is which of the three carefully prepared sauces to choose – black pepper, garlic or mushroom.
