The media is so transparent that whatever the scandals that the politicians make will soon be reported in the media. Hong Kong is a somewhat different from Singapore though, 95% Chinese vs 74% for Singapore and has a great diversity of opinions. I think Old Traitor is overrated. Singapore may still be able to prosper with Lim Chin Siong or Goh Keng Swee as the Prime Minister as Singapore is a small island and its easy to develop and control. I think we may get more gracious Singaporeans, more developed domestic industry and better protection of the workers if BS were our government instead of PAP.
