A group of photos of a girl involved in a truck accident went viral on the Chinese Internet community Wednesday, mainly due to her composure during the ordeal.
The accident occurred on August 9 in Anyang of central China's Henan Province, when the 11-year-old girl was knocked down by a trailer truck and trapped under the wheels.
To many people's surprise, the girl did not scream during the entire rescue process. This greatly encouraged rescuers, who failed several times in their attempts to free her.
At present, the girl remains in the intensive care unit of a local hospital and doctors say her right leg has to be amputated due to severe damage.
