Girl plunges 10 floors to her death
JOHOR BARU: An 18-year-old girl plunged 10 floors to her death at an apartment block in Larkin here at around midnight yesterday. The body of Y. Kasturi (pic) was discovered by a passer-by at the bottom of the block at the Serantau Baru flats at 12.15am. It is learnt that the teenager had earlier been scolded by her mother over some housework.
Her distraught father, only referred to as Yogan, said his daughter and her mother had a misunderstanding over some household chores. Kasturi was the youngest among six siblings. Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Zainuddin Yaakob, said police had classified the case as sudden death.Kasturi’s remains were sent to the Sultanah Aminah Hospital here for a post mortem.
