A 15-year-old girl has filed a complaint with police against five men _ including policemen and her own father _ claiming they had raped her.
Nong Sua police yesterday arrested her father. Somnuek Pokkati, 43, was arrested at his house in tambon Nong Sam Wang shortly after his daughter lodged the rape complaint with the police.
The girl said her father had raped her repeatedly since she was seven years old. Mr Somnuek denied the rape charge.
His daughter filed the complaint at Nong Sua police station in Pathum Thani province yesterday with the help of social worker Silpachai Khenpa.
The girl had recently begun working as a traffic police volunteer at Pratunam Chulalongkorn police station in Thanyaburi district.
She says three traffic policemen from her station got her drunk and raped her at a motel.
She said she escaped and caught a taxi. After she told the driver what happened, she said he took her to another motel and also raped her.
Mr Silpachai said the girl had been brought to a home for abused children and women in Pathum Thani by an adult she trusted.
Nong Sua police chief Pol Col Bancha Tipayanont said the investigation will take time as there are a lot of details to consider. He said the precise date of the alleged attacks by the policemen and taxi driver had not yet been determined.
