Man sleeps on train floor, yells at commuters, then offers them $1m to take paper from his hand
He might have looked peaceful in his sleep, but this MRT commuter apparently also shouted at the other passengers and offered $1 million to anyone who dared to grab a piece of paper from his hand.
STOMPer Fish Feet, who reported the incident to STOMP, said:
"I saw this gentleman asleep on the MRT when I got on the Pasir Ris-bound train at City Hall after the F1 race Sunday night.
"At first I thought he was ill, but I noticed he was breathing and a fellow passenger asked if he was OK, and he said he was all right.
"After a few stops he stood up and started yelling at all the passengers, before returning to his sleeping position.
"A few stops later he held a pice of paper in his hand and offerred $1 million to anyone who dared to try to take it from his hand, but there were no takers.
"Finally, when we reached the Bedok area, he jumped up again and started to get aggressive with some of the passengers, stumbling out on the Tanah Merah platform.
"I reported him to the MRT staff when leaving the station."
