Oh din know its 30-50K now. Last year my Vietnamese colleagued told me he got offered 100K when he went back to Vietnam. It probably depends on your "status" here I suppose.

Thanks for the clarification, would you know about China as well? Are there similar "Deals" to be made in china? The PRCs are rich now, but I'm sure there are PRCs in similar circumstances that would pay money to have their daughter marry into Australia. Plus, at least communication side its easier versus Vietnamese.
